Arthur Terry A-levels 2020 – ‘Brilliant’ results celebrated

Arthur Terry A-levels 2020: The Arthur Terry School has paid tribute to the dedication of its students after they achieved ‘brilliant’ A level results.

Neil Warner Director of Education (Secondary) for the Arthur Terry Learning Partnership said: “Whilst this year is truly unprecedented in our education system, one overriding feature remains. These results represent the culmination of great dedication, hard work and perseverance from our young people.

“Results are not just the end product of a two or three hour examination, they represent years of preparedness and we congratulate every single one of our students.”

There have been a number of outstanding individual achievements with 31 students gaining at least 2 A*-A grades from 3 A levels and 57 students gaining at least 1 A*-A grade.

Headteacher Samantha Kibble said “These results represent what can be achieved when students, teachers and parents and the wider school community work together to encourage and support our young people.

Associate Assistant Headteacher Ros Geillis added “Students have worked so hard to gain the knowledge and skills they need to move on to their next life stage successfully; the vast majority of our students will access their first choice of University, Higher Apprenticeship or Employment.”

We wish all our departing students the very best for the future and eagerly anticipate hearing news of their future successes. We hope they will stay in touch and we look forward to the new academic year and supporting our students to reach their potential.”
