Fairfax ‘hugely proud’ of GCSE students’ results

Fairfax Academy is very pleased to report some excellent achievements by its Year 11 students in their GCSEs and other qualifications this summer.

Deborah Bunn, Head of Academy, said: “We are hugely proud of all the hard work and achievements of our students, especially after such a tough and disrupted year, our students have shown maturity and resilience throughout these extraordinary times and we are so proud of how focussed they were on returning to school following the winter lockdown.

“Our teachers and staff have worked tirelessly to ensure student progress, and we look forward to welcoming many students back into our sixth form in September.

“We wish all of our Year 11 students every success in their next phase of education or training.”
