Arthur Terry GCSE 2021 – results are ‘culmination of years of hard work’

Arthur Terry GCSE 2021 – Arthur Terry School has recognised the achievements of our Year 11 students ‘in a year like no other’.

The school said this year’s results are testament to the students and their excellent attitude to learning as a year group.

Headteacher Samantha Kibble commented: “I am exceptionally proud of these students and their results reflect the hard work and determination to succeed. These results are the culmination of years of hard work, and I am proud of how they adapted to online learning and virtual lessons during the last part of their school journey.  We wish all of our students the very best for the next stage in their learning journey and we look forward to hearing of their successes in the future.”

Arthur Terry GCSE 2021: pride in results

Mr Gannon commented: “We are immensely proud of the wonderful achievements of our Year 11 students. The last two academic years have been significantly disrupted due to the global pandemic and we know that so many of our students and their families have had to go through extremely challenging times.

“It is a credit to our students that they have showed incredible resilience, determination, and dedication in the face of adversity; through their hard work, they have achieved fantastic GCSE results that will enable them to move to the next exciting chapter of their lives. We look forwarding to welcoming back so many of our Year 11 students as they embark upon A Levels in September here at Arthur Terry.

“We would also like to thank our teachers, our Year 11 pastoral team and our Students Support Services team who have all worked tirelessly to support our students both academically and pastorally. Finally, we would like to thank our amazing parents and carers who have worked with us through these extremely difficult times of the pandemic.”
